Once you've passed your test you are ready for Pass Plus, an intensive driving course to help you become a better driver. You can take part in Pass Plus within the first year of taking your driving test, when you will be able to book a course of 6 specially designed training sessions. These will cover driving in the following areas:
* In town
* Out of town
* In all weathers
* At night
* On dual carriageways
* On motorways
There will not be a further test to take. Once your instructor is satisfied with your performance you will receive a certificate from the Driving Standards Agency. This certificate will enable you to earn a substantial discount on your car insurance from one of the companies in the scheme.
